you've given the gift of being a mother,
a selfless act that took one so strong,
for this, so many have waited so long.
countless heartaches they have had,
time spent hurting and feeling so bad,
until their angel was sent from up high,
now it's happy tears they cry.
you are that angel, their saving grace,
so hold your head high, put a smile on your face,
be happy, content and full of pride,
coz all who see your wings will be by your side.
